Dengue is a mosquito-borne viral infection that long causes flu-like sickness. The Symptoms start to appear after three to fourteen days of infection. Dengue fever is transmitted by the bite of an Aedes mosquito infected with the virus. The mosquito becomes infected after biting someone with that virus in once blood. The condition cannot spread from person to person except for the mosquito bite.
