US Inspiration Awards for Women 2012
Jessica Cox was born without arms. The doctors do not know why she was born "differently-abled." But she does. Jessica has made achievements with her feet that most people only dream of. Now she shares her story with people around the world. Born in 1983 in Sierra Vista, Arizona, Jessica has learned to live her life with her feet.
She's likewise the primary armless dark belt in the American Taekwondo Association. Declining to utilize prosthetic arms Jessica: drives a vehicle, types on a console, siphons her own gas and puts on contact focal points. The University of Arizona with a degree in psychology, Jessica is a motivational speaker, and has spoken in eighteen different countries. Also a certified SCUBA diver, Jessica loves her role as a motivator saying, “I want people to think, “Hey, if she can do so much without arms, then I can do so much more with my life.”
This speaker has even acted in a short film, ‘The Butterfly Circus’, earning the film three awards, and bagging one himself, for his brilliant portrayal of a man very much like himself, who is given a second chance to love himself. He is a devout Christian, believing that God loves everyone equally, and has taken it upon himself to spread the message to everyone around the world.
